Krystallo's Reference. Character was designed for me by Mega_Moppa on twitter as a design trade, and I'm finally getting around to drawing their reference in my style.

He is a Morgen (hermaphrodite nudibranch people) and member of the Knight of the Waves, an elite group of enforcers of ocean surface law, acting as the mediators between land and sea for his region of the ocean. Despite his appearance, one must be an expert of combat, negotiations, and enduring the constant shifting pressure of traversing the deepest ocean depths and the surface. As such, he's far tougher than he looks, even if he still acts in a very chipper and easygoing manner.
As a true hermaphrodite, he treats his gender identity fluidly, but is accustomed to male pronouns when interacting with surface and land-bound creatures.
