Capricious is the mascot for Capricon, a Chicago SF convention. Each year I do a series of illustrations for the on-site newsletter, Goat Droppings.

Last year, it was Capricon's 30th year so the theme was Celebration!

Last in the series, Capricious, the day after a Saturday night of hard partying at Capricon.

This one was a reference to Sunday morning at my first Capricon, some 20-mumble years ago. Some poor kid had fallen asleep in a hall just outside of the hotel lobby. Friends and passers-by had, over the course of the morning, decorated him with sharpies, makeup, nail polish, cheap plastic leis, and a toe-tag.
