So back in late 2022, I had an idea for an OC, completely at random. This would eventually turn out to be the main character in my upcoming comic, but I just sat down one day with my sketchbook and Prismacolors and went to town. I drew a tuxedo cat, gave them purple hair, and realized by the end of it that I had never considered whether to make the character male or female. I think this was the impetus for creating my first ever enby OC.
Shortly after I drew the image on the left, I bought my first tablet, a Wacom Cintiq 16. I have since then bought an XPPen Artist 24, and the image on the right was its maiden voyage. Courtney has now taken on a much more androgynous appearance, which I'm as pleased with as I am with the progress that switching to digital has allowed me to make.
Ignore the fact that her shirt suggests the existence of humans in the canon. I just like that album >_>
