"Another day in paradise how I always say.

The crew of the Argos-04 explorer is going for day number 403 of orbital mapping to Promethia, I still have my reservations as to why it is so important to look for something on this cold rock that doesn't seem to contain anything of our interest but we have all done our part to try to take advantage of the three tiny Kestyern mines discovered in the southern hemisphere of the planet's only continent to at least accomplish our secondary mission of mining that crystal to supply the Sagan Station 34 light years from here.

Engineers Shaw, Hannah, Koslov and Mazdoc have safely sheltered the 38 kilos we have collected so far while technician Javik, Haley and I take over from above the operation and make sure the 4 geographic mapping satellites we launched are still online, this morning at 9 am some kind of electromagnetic wave knocked two of the satellites offline so Javik and Haley are preparing to go out into the void to repair them once it is safe for them to stop orbiting at high speed for overhaul, estimated operation in an hour and a half."

"We have begun operations to re-establish the operation of the satellites, Javik and Haley are already repairing the GCS-02 without mishap and Haley is joking with his taur partner about the practicality of his anatomy that seems to be "swimming like a dog" in space, joking hanging from a cable 12000 meters away from a deadly fall to a frozen planet, all professionals...
While the mining team on the surface had already spotted a strong storm approaching so while they take shelter in the gathering station it will be some time before we lose communications, hopefully in a matter of three quarters of an hour we will know of their condition

"In view of recent events I have considered setting up a warning signal to any CASE ships in the nearby sectors or leaving the area if possible, after satellite 02 was successfully fixed and repairs to 03 were about to be completed, something caught the attention of my technicians in orbit, they told us that Promethia's moon was only filled with water mixed with heavy gases and because of the uninhabitable atmosphere there was no Earth Union settlement on its surface.

But they saw a large number of lights similar to circular clusters of cities in it light up for about a minute before out of nowhere on the radar identified 4 asteroids of considerable size approaching to impact on the surface of the planet with what I ordered the team on the surface to take shelter immediately to the subway area of the station before the possibility of impact near their area, but upon impact there was a second electromagnetic anomaly that was now perceptible to the Argos because it has left us with auxiliary power and without external communication just a few minutes ago.

Fortunately Javik and Haley managed to get back inside before the burst but now we must evaluate what option to take to get out of this situation as we cannot even know the status of our team on the ground.
