OMFG WAS THIS WAS A FUN ONE!
The tongue is semi posable in that you can curl it up real tight and leave it over night and it will stay that way for a long while, or make it stay straight overnight etc. When curled it will uncurl itself over about a weeks time but it does hold its curl long enough for a con :3
It was made using a pink fabric coated elastic headband coated in fabric paint. Oh and it comes off via rare earth magnets (it takes a strong tug to remove so casual touching is not going to make it come off)
the tail is black fox and kanekalon which was first knotted in the middle and the knot was drowned in hot glue to help prevent the hair from pulling through and then the hair was sewn into the tail. I used a blowdryer to heat-set the hair in a part...which worked WAY better than I expected for the hair does settle into where it needs to be on its own :3
And yes I know the tearducts are huge but with how long and angled the head is they had to go down that far because otherwise the blind spot would be so large that you would not even see a person standing in front of you!
There is a fan in the muzzle, a vent covered in black jersy mesh under the jaw that you can also glance down through, and eeeee the hands are fun to play with X3 with them little fake-leather claws twiddling around and the way the long fur moves makes the hands really fun to watch and use.

PS I swear the dark ring around the muzzle is NOT there in person, I think the fur just got roughed up a bit...it was about to rain so I was kinda not paying attention to little details very well >_<

May I ask why you don't claim yourself to be a furry? I get the impression that you have something against the label. You like making the suits, and you invite yourself into the fandom, and you attend certain conventions in "anthropormorphic" suits (I recall seeing you in your frakenstitch character suit a long while back at sac anime) yet you're still not a furry?
Holy crap you've pretty much just blown my mind :D Going to comment on lots of random little things :D
The tail swish! I know you said it swished really well, but damn! Thats incredible! its so swishy and amazing! It's so huuuuge and fluffy :D
The claws look fantastic, and actually look really fun to wiggle around xD
Seeing the eye colour at a distance is great, the mix of gold and blue worked really really well! Plus that little bit of gold on the sides looks really good!
Seriously with the tear ducts don't worry about how big they are :D On the references those long dark marks under the eyes I put them there because I knew it'd end up as a great spot for vision anyway ;D

:D It works perfectly! They really do make the eyes work so much better with the little bit of extra colour! You really have done an amazing job pulling this off :D Anteaters are so strange and you've made it come together perfectly!

the hands btw have no padding in them! I went through all the trouble to carve the padding and make these fit around the pads... but when I tried them on I found it was not needed at and that they looked better w/out padding!...which is good, padding is hot! I love watching the fur move on the hands :3
PS overall this costume is like flawless..the only flaw this has is due to the huge tearducts: in the right light and from the right angle...you can see the person's eye :( which kinda sucks BUT if you wear a black "zentai" hood it'll fix that :3 For the most part it is not an issue because the light has to shine in from a certain angle...but, if your luck is anything like mine, it will be an issue and ruin the magic right when you crouch down to say hi to a kid, lol.

Haha fair enough! I was planning on wearing something under it (just a balaclava) to help keep it clean and my hair out of my face, but if you think a zentai hood will be better I'll get one of them :D tbh, thats a pretty tiny flaw :D and easy to get around! But yeah, I can guarantee the light would be wrong as soon as a kid comes anywhere near me xD!

I love the idea behind the tongue (even using earth magnets to prevent damage via pulling... it's bad enough when people grab tails, I'm sure it's like a 'homing beacon' for a furry/child) xD
The colours/shades are very appealing ^^ and looks quite a friendly furry creature

If ever I have the funds to commission a fullsuit from you other than a quadsuit, I would LOVE an anteater version of my fursona done by you.
