“Is this really necessary to become a Care Bear? Its … embarrassing”

“Oh yes” Trueheart giggled, “Care Bears are trained from birth to fulfill our purpose. For our cubs most of the training feels like games and play”.

“But I’m an adult, and you said I was naturally gifted for my life as Hugs-a-Lot Bear .. why am I starting like this?”

“Everyone’s starts their training as a Care Bear from the basics, no exceptions. When an adult joins us they start from the beginning, so we need to undo what they have learned in life so far … and that includes your potty training”. Trueheart added with another giggle.

“Don’t worry little one” said Grams finishing dressing the bear after diapering him. “I’ll turn you into a proper cub, I have a spot in the nursery ready just for you. I’ll care for you like my own little cub for the next few decades until you’re potty trained again and ready to be a big bear again and start training for caring missions”.

“I’ll be diapered for decades!?”

“Oh yes, now that you are a Care Bear you’ll age slowly like us.”
