This is Grossular, Gros for short (not gross, so people don't mispronounce his name). I don't know whether to call him a Mineral Dragon or a *insert specialized rock name* Dragon, but I at least know he's a dragon. Originally, he was part of a species of dragons, but for a long time he's just been an independant character. Unironically, he works in the mines. His story and origins are kind of all over the place, so nothing is set in stone. Have some art of him~
