Meet Reesta. At first glance you would find it hard to believe that she was once human. Originally she was a normal, happy young lady called Glences; out-going and socialible. Unfortunatly, fate had other plans for her. One night, during a snowstorm, she was the victum of a car accident. The driver, seeing her unconcious and hurt, took her back to his home. This wasn't an act of kindness though, because he was actually a scientist, whom had just been looking for a human guinea pig for his latest experiment. In his laboratory, he genetically engineered her a new body while keeping her barely alive. When he was finsihed, her transferred her mind into the new body; while doing so, he stripped her of all of her memories, leaving only education and language skills. Then the experiment began. Over the course of three years, he kept injecting shadow energy into her body to analize the result. In time the energy caused significant amounts of mutation in Glences body: she developed bony horns and a long tail with a venomous tip; her fingers and toes changed into long clawas; her nose disappeared, becoming covered by a layer of tough filter tissue. By the end of the experiment, scientist concluded it to be a failure, and the only thing to do to failures is to terminater them. Glences, scared and psycologically broken by his treatment, proved to have developed another mutation: immortality. As the scientist tried to kill her, she managed to grab two parts of disgarded scissors, and frantically slashed at him, slitting his throut and stabbing in his heart in the process. A police officeer who had been sent to investigate some strange happening at the scientist lab came across Glences, bleeding, crying and huddled away from the Doctors body. Seeing that it had been self defence, the officeer carried glence back to her mother, after recognising her from posters. From there, Glences's mother had to teach her about her former live through photos and stories. Eventually she managed to calm Glences, who took the name Reesta, to a more social state, but the damage had been done; the experiences she had suffered made Reesta distrust anyone she meet, as well as making her introverted and cynacial. Realising her daughter desire to travel, Reestas mother made her carry a communication orb, so she could always talk to her should she desire to. Bidding her spirit mohter farewell, Reesta left her home village, hoping to forget the memories of her past.
