This was a headshot done by non-furry artist DollopHeadedMerlin. The first ever drawing of Mario ever made. It’s OLD, made in March of 2019.

Much like the Christmas piece, looking back I feel that his face is so wonky, like a little too human looking. Though this wasn’t a paid piece and he looked so much better once the ref sheet and wrestling piece came to be.

It’s important to remember that not every piece can turn out fantastic, and also how varying quality can be, and also to specify how you want your characters to look, because if not, it’ll turn out wrong and you can’t do much about it
