The Helmeted Broad-Fin is a large predatory fish native to the western coasts of Arcadia. It is an ambush predator capable of short bursts of speed during which it uses its armored head to stun prey (primarily other fish, such as the Araguna, or pinnipeds) and then tear it apart with its powerful jaws.

The eponymous fins provide it with stability and propulsion as it swims. It prefers warmer, slightly murky waters where it can more effectively launch its surprise attacks.

Typically it does not perceive humanoids as food, however, if there is blood in the water, all bets are off.
