Koguma No Misha(Misha the little bear cub)
Misha(Mishka) is a little bear who lives with his parents in the forest.
Nippon Animation did make a anime cartoon based on the original mascot of the Russia Olympics games.
Here are a brief description of the origins of Misha:
In Russian, Misha is a diminutive for the Russian male name Mikhail (Michael). Most bears appearing in Russian fairy tales have this name, because it is similar to the Russian word for Bear - Miedvied (Russian Медведь), of which the diminutive form is Mishka.
In 1977, the committee organizing the Olympics held a contest for the best illustration of a bear. The judges chose Victor Chizhikov's design depicting a smiling bear cub wearing a blue-black-yellow-green-red (colors of the Olympic rings) belt, with a golden buckle shaped like the five rings. Misha was confirmed as an official mascot on December 19th, 1977.
During the closing ceremony of the 1980 Olympic Games, Misha the bear appeared with a tear in its eye.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=_zTb65wmXOg (Thanks to my friend

After the Moscow 1980 Games Misha met Mickey Mouse in Moscow on Mickey's 60th Birthday in 1988.
Nippon Animation made in 1979 a 26 episodes based on the original character. My pic is more based on the animated one.

Ooops!Sorry if my comment is offensive my friend tyrone,I'm really sorry!Your cub is much better drawn and is 100% more cute then the silly drawing that I just did! If I offended you, I beg your pardon for laughing and I act like a fool! This will occur no more!
Vučko is the wolf's name, I had to look it up since I couldn't remember. Here's a picture if anybody wants to see. I still have a little plastic Vučko doll somewhere, they sold them everywhere back in '84. My sister used to have a Misha plushie.
I heard he was the mascot foe the olympics, but I had no idea he once had his own cartoon show.
I would've watched every episode!
I actually have him as a bronze pencil sharpener! I'm glad you reminded me! He's packed up somewhere! It's been 4 years since I moved to a place of my own and I still haven't finished unpacking!
I have a lot of bears!
I seen the you tube videos. What's with Misha pulling on that elephant's trunk? He want his lotto money back and the elephant said "no!"?
The lotto brought that "Texas Lotto Elephant" back! He think he's bad too! I'll get that money some day!
