An endless field of grass, hills filling the horizon, there in the remoteness. I look up to see a sky bright enough to show me the glory of this land, yet just faint so the celestial vault can shower the heavens in its infinite stars. The grass blades softly moved around by the gentle breeze, I can feel an inner peace washing over me.
As I walk farther and farther away from my starting point, now lost in the never ending fields, I feel more at peace with me, I feel like I'm ready to become a habitant of this place, I feel like I'm coming to terms with life.
Should I continue forward, I know I'd have no reason to come back, my soul leaving my inert body back wherever it is left now, and I would cease to live.
