From The Journal of the Recently Transformed - Cat
For this week's
Thursday_Prompt. Been a few weeks since I've done one of these, but at a length of 365 words I figured I could get something made. Plus, I had already done a kind of self journal thing a few months back so here's more of that.

Or I turned into one of the kitsune from my story universe.
More context. I actually did get a cat at the start of this year. My parents' dogs ended up getting too rough around her and ended up injuring her. They asked me to give her a nice safe home which I have been doing although she's also been just driving me kind of nuts. Those who show up to my streams know how distracting and demanding she can be.

Cat-can would be hard. She's either just sleeping or moving around too much. I am thinking of turning the single picture I have of her into a slide show though.
And yes, it's definitely a demand. I must stay strong against her endless appetite. It's just too easy to give in a lot of the time.

My one cat was getting into everything remotely food-related and eating all the other cats' food as well. We ended up moving to just having bowls full of dry food because one cat wasn't getting enough food. He gained some weight, but he's not a fat cat and our food is mostly safe again. Don't know if that's an option for your lady, but thought I'd suggest it.
She isn't getting into the food like that. She's just picky and spoiled and needs to get into the weight loss plan. The problem is that I'm too weak and give into her demands to feed her more. I'm trying to slowly wean her off of it, but my parents were terrible at this which is why she is fat in the first place. Like my mother would feed her in the middle of the night which is why she was waking me up and begging at 4AM when I just got her.
I’ve never owned a cat but my grandparents lived next to one and anytime I visited I would always go and play with the cat. And then one day, just like the cat here fed her and she became quite the boss.
But I loved how you played with the pet ownership pain that is you would do anything for them. I also love the character and the kitsunification and is certainly comes in quite handy. I enjoyed this, a fun little read.

She used to be an outdoor cat. If there wasn't a 20ft. drop from the balcony of my apartment I'm sure she'd be prowling the neighborhood. It's a little worrying to think about though since there are a lot of coyotes around here and she isn't as quick and agile as she used to be since she gained all of this weight.
All I can say is that I’m happy you were able to break Bella’s 4 AM wake up ritual. When my parents go away and I have to look after the old family dog, she always gets me up at 4:30 to demand she’s taken out. Though this isn’t really a normal habit. It’s more the result of her separation anxiety when she’s away from my mom.
Thanks. I remember spending a bunch of time getting the aesthetic of it to look right the last time I did this, so it paid off here. And I've seen pictures of that with some towns just having tons of kitties all over the place. I'm sure the lack of predators really helps that. Around where I live only the strongest outdoor cats survive. Most end up coyote food. In fact, I actually just saw a coyote casually walking down the middle of my street last night.
