Finished this about too late for the Lunar New Year's Day, the result of too much screwing around with other crap rather than jotting shit down on paper. I had wanted to draw an Eastern Dragon character and settled on a Mongolian one rather than your typical Chinese or Japanese one people like to draw, so it's a dragoness in one of those Mongol dress instead of a qingpao or kimono. This I drew on a mixed media pad I got for Christmas and I originally wanted to use alcohol markers but after doing some searching, I went with watercolor pencils and paintbrushes instead. The pose I reference and she's supposed to be sitting in Karakorum, ancient capital of the Mongol Khanate.
