Cedess and the Sith stood evenly matched, blades clashing back and forth. Veronica could see the exhaustion on her master and even the Sith began to pant between parries and strikes. Cedess was focused on the Sith, following his moves. "His training", she thought, "is on par with some Jedi I know." Cedess caught a glimpse of Veronica out of the corner of her eye and grit her teeth. She wouldn’t fall before her Padawan. Not before Veronica. She pressed her attack, driving the Sith back and putting him on the defense.
