I actually sketched this a while ago, and meant to post it, but for some reason kept putting it off. Anyway, here it is.
This is Hiroko, as she appears at some point in one of Maiara's plots. Foxes become kitsune in Maiara through natural acquisition of power, and this is Hiroko after she reaches the first critical point (there are several for foxes, but the only visible changes after the first are usually only splitting of the tail(s) and/or magiluminescence). She was originally a fox, and is now technically a two-tailed nerakitsune, though most of the traits that reflected her nerakai heritage were lost. The rest would probably be lost in successive critical points, though the traits would no doubt resurface in any children she may have, if her mate was a nera.
The thing around her neck is a Guard symbol, which... well, identifies her as a member of the Guard. She is a very powerful healer, and may be one of the magically-strongest individuals in the Guard, period, as indicated by the whole kitsune thing.
Maiara, Hiroko, and nera are all copyright to me. If you mess with them, be warned that I bite.
