I decided to "furrify" one of my other, more human, characters, Jinjer Phoenix. She's known as the missing Phoenix Blood, but that's to the other Phoenix Blood that inhabit Neo-Mobius. Jinjer isn't a very nice character, and tries to put up this tough and edgy facade to hide her real feelings of loneliness and pain caused by others in the past. She has no real home, she has no place to stay, so she just goes around and tries to survive. She keeps her distance from people, being more afraid of them than anything else. She has two pistols and a knife to defend herself.

One of the more surprising things about Jinjer, is that she does have feelings, she has her crushes, her interests, and love to give....but she fears showing it would only make her seem weak. Yes, she has the edgy kind of thing going, but instead of it being all "cool", the reason is more out of fear, rather than pride. She doesn't want to hurt others, so she keeps away. She doesn't want to intrude, so she never sticks around. She has a heart.

She has been mislead by life, into thinking that the world isn't good, doesn't care, and is impossible to get along with without sacrificing your own strength. She just needs the right person to be her friend, or her lover, and help her open up to the world, rather than hide from it.

Yeah, so she is Edgy, but I tried to give her less of a "Mary Sue" or "Shadow the Hedgehog" style personality and such. She's not out to hate or destroy the world, she just fears it. I do know the "Red and Black thing has been overdone and often is seen as some angsty color scheme, but I might change her clothing colors at some point. I also wanted to have her have room for character growth, where she can accept the truth about life, love, friendship, and so on. She just needs the right person to come along and show her the lighter things in life.

For those not in the know, a Phoenix Blood is a living being that has phoenix blood mixed with their own, giving them some powers and abilities, but nothing overpowered. They are rare, but can often be identified by a mark on the back of their neck. Aurora Phoenix is also a Phoenix Blood which is why even though she is in her forties, she looks a heck of a lot younger than her actual age. This is based on the concept that Phoenix Bloods stop aging when their powers are awakened.
