The door opened, and huge wolf paws walked leisurely across the stone tiles. Water dripped from them, the water that poured from the sky. A thunderstorm was raging outside, the rumblings of thunder so sweetly warming to the ear intertwined with the swiftly running streaks of light across the gloomy sky. Glancing at the shadow of the gaunt trees that flickered across the stone wall, the wolf lifted a hind paw and kicked the massive wooden door. With a small creak, it slammed shut, covering the rampage of the elements.
He shook himself to shake off the excess water droplets, his gaze falling on the simple girl who stood at his side, across the massive oak table and pressed her fist to her heart.
-"Clean it up," the beast said quietly to the maid, and headed leisurely up the winding staircase.
The girl stepped back from her slight fright and picked up a mop and bucket and hurried to do as instructed.
........
Carrying the fragile flower in its mouth quite carefully, the beast stopped in front of a door decorated with an archway of the same stone lilies.
- "Mistress, may I come in?" - Asked the wolf without moving his mouth, but in a loud, powerful voice that seemed to come out of nowhere.
-"Kyle, is that you? Of course," came from behind the door, and it opened on its own. Two little blue lights flew out, two fox-like spirits. They were chattering about the flower Kyle held in his mouth. After circling it from all sides, the little ones rushed back into the room, closing the door with the same magic behind the wolf that had already entered.
- "Is that... a night lily? Did you go to the lands of Omrock to get it?" - The young maiden stood up from behind a desk and a pile of papers, surprised and seemingly not very pleased.
- "Well, you yourself said that you wanted to see this miraculous flower"-sighing he sat down and began to reason as if he were forced to explain something logical, occasionally rolling his eyes, taking away to the side he quoted the girl's words.
-" You said that it blossoms once a year, its power of filling the moon is able to purify ... "- but before he could finish, as the girl sat down in front of him and wanted to hug, from which he was dazed. -"I'M WET!"
- "Oh...it's raining outside, isn't it?"- Kumi pulled her hands away and looked at the spirits.
The spirits seemed to understand her with a single glance and quickly disappeared with several large terry towels. The girl began to wipe the unhappily resisting beast with them.
- "Don't, what are you doing, just take the flower!"
- "Hold still Kyle! You're soaking wet!"
- "I'll dry myself or use magic, just take it away before you break it! "
-If that were true, you wouldn't have come to me looking like this!"
-"I'll be shaggy."
- "That's it," Kumiko said contentedly, putting the towel aside. Indeed, the wet menacing beast had turned into a shaggy dandelion. With a mischievous smile, she couldn't help herself and started rubbing its big woolly head.
- "How fluffy, who's so fluffy and pretty here?" - She managed to touch the fur a few times with her lips, but it was soft, and when you're tired and overworked, you can do such things.
-"Madam, you're behaving inappropriately. I'm not your dog. "
