"Despite her really cute looks, I can't help but see a proper Dragon behind those eyes... Something has changed, and I can't help but shake a sense of dread." ~Aellea Materia
"After the unfortunate loss of Cycle 9, the Pillars of Creation immediately got to work on resetting the Cycles to create a brand-new universe. They would dub this to be Cycle 10 as they’d split it into several different parts and alternate realms. The most prominent of these, is “The Realm of Materia”, the birthplace of the Dragons as it is a land of myths, legends and heroes. It is also the last remaining piece of Cycle 9 that survived the great cataclysm that destroyed the universe. From this primitive plane of existence, most forms of life in the Outer Stars would spawn from it. The realm became myth as it was described as a rogue “flat” planet that acted as an anchor which connected all other realms of existence together. However, this same realm is considered not only to be the cradle of life, but also death. Large portions of the wild species grew to kaiju proportions, wars would be hard to face thanks to terrain and weather, and most sentient species did not know what life was like outside their massive stone walls. Things would become solitary and stay feudal for a very long time in this land.
For as Thomza rested, drained of their original power after the loss of the previous cycle, they could not participate in the creation process. For it was down to the new god, Proto with Tia by his side to cultivate this land. UBiL and Ballos simply tended to their own matters as they helped create the different realms. At one point in time, Tia’s offspring reigned supreme in the Realm of Materia. For as she was a Tiamat her offspring were massively diverse as most were direct descendants of Thomza and Proto. Millions of years would pass as Dragons would reign supreme with their Scaled Ones to help company them. They would grow, prosper, and then finally leave. Let they exit into the Grand Multiverse, or even to the other realms to spread their own dominion and power. However, many other alien species would eventually find their way back to the Realm of Materia. The Plantarans would crash their ships, Angel-Tech soldiers would be stranded, Kollisoids are rushing the shores, and Goblins and Snakemen began stealing space junk. For she knew that things would not stay “primitive” for long. That after millions of years, evolution would take place and that this is not only home to dragons, but many other countless species as well. Soon her attention would be divided elsewhere as the War of Love ravages the Outer Stars, and in this distracted wake, the False Gods known as the “Stars” would arrive on Materia.
The False Gods were brutal, mass exterminating most of the dragons, turning the Scaled Ones into Scalebolds to act as vessels for their faith, and even waging war against many of the new sentient species of Materia. Proto and Tia could seemingly do nothing at this time as they had to rely on the mortals down below to put a wicked end to these parasitic gods. Although, when hope soon wavered, Thomza had returned several hundred years during the False Star’s reign. Fully restored of their power as their eyes were open to a realm that needed saving. For the proper War Against the Stars would soon begin, and there would be no mercy for those they innocently butchered along the way. For Thomza is not doing this out of pure revenge, but to save the realm and even other universes from pure destruction and devastation. Thomza would take many new forms during this time, and one of the most feared and well known is their draconic transformation.
This creature is overwhelming in size, a shade of light blue, and their very personality would change. As Thomza despises to take any violent solutions to problems, their dragon form may prefer it. For the False Stars were horrified when castles were wrecked and besieged in an afternoon, armies of hundreds of thousands of the Star’s Kobolds would simply go missing and many of their own find themselves falling in battle. For despite Thomza’s cuddly and more cute appearance they had the wrath of an unwavering and overwhelming goddess. Thomza would form the Warrior of the Pillars and the Chosen out of liberated Scalebolds. This war would only last a few years, but the Warrior of the Pillars were not the only participants. During this time, the faction known as Yggdrasil woke up and Angel-Tech finally got a firm footing on Materia. It is still one of the worst catastrophes that had struck Materia yet and the death toll was almost uncountable.
Once this war was finished and a new age began, Thomza had high doubts they would have the mental capacity to survive the War Against the Stars if it wasn’t for their Draconic form. Not just because of the absurd power boost, but because of that mentality change, as Thomza can sometimes suffer certain cognitive dissonance effects. One major difference is Thomza absolutely despises to be called a God instead of a Legendary Hero. Although their dragon form demands Kobolds to see them as the Mother of all Dragons and wants to see themselves worshipped as their god. They are indulgent, obsessive, and highly defensive of the Kobolds as well as the Capital of Bayshore. When Thomza takes this vicious transformation, Aellea or Tia must snap them out of it as Thomza cannot seemingly or willingly break themselves out of it alone."
Note: Since they are a shapeshifter, their size is still very debatable, and her max size is still a mystery. It is also known that she likes to be up close and personal in a fight and if her foes are far away, she has many deadly laser attacks that are absurdly precise. Most of these laser attacks can be of various elements and cause terraformed effects on the battlefield. It is also to note her tail-like mouth can seemingly phase in and out at will. The bite on it, despite having no teeth visible is extremely dangerous. She also has very little forms of magic and prefers to be completely physical on the battlefield. It is to note she absolutely loathes having any form of allies as she's afraid they'll get in her way and be part of the collateral damage. This also might have to do with "Draconic Pride" or parts of Thomza still climbing into their dragon brain to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

Fun Fact 1: The tail is not sentient, nor is it a parasite, it is simply an extension of the dragon's mouth and is used as a weapon
Fun Fact 2: Thomza's floppy ears and two clawed feet were meant to resemble something more akin to a goat
Fun Fact 3: Bludgeoning damage seems to be the most common form of attack of this form
Fun Fact 4: She can breathe concentrated lasers, but not fire
Fun Fact 5: This draconic transformation most resembles their mother
Fun Fact 6: When designing this form, I wanted to ensure they looked slightly different from other cartoon fairy tale dragons I draw, and I wanted it to resemble some form of gluttony and royalty. Hence why they have a mouth on their tail and their horns are shaped like a crown
