megaman zx advent needed better voice acting. cause with out the voices it would've been a great game!

But terrible voice acting and megaman games go hand in hand, it would be like pulling the game's soul out x3

well for the megaman x series.
legends had pretty good acting IMO

Those were also...well, different to the rest of them though, not-Axl reference aside, all the 2D ones held true to the running joke of the VA quality x3

but still, you can always tell who was born human or created as a Reploid by looking at their foreheads. Reploids have a triangle on their heads, humans do not.

Which is kinda weird, 'cause I don't think X and Zero had those. I mean, they did on their helmets, but...

Yeah X and Zero don't have it except their helmets. But that was the old Reploid design, the newer design(shown in ZX and ZX Advent) has the red triangle on their foreheads

Ashe is human. The pic above shows her combined with a "BioMetal", which I guess is best described as a form of robot armour.

The other character you can play as in the game (Gray, is it?) is a Reploid, which is pretty much a near-human android. Reploids came a loooong way from what they were in the X series, basicly becoming almost identical to humans.

Yeah... I knows me mah Megaman. I also beat this game on both storylines. =p

Yeah, but it wasn't just the reploids that changed- the reps became more human-like, and the humies got more robotic. What resulted was a sort of median between the two. At least, if I remember right.

Partly... Reploids wanted to be more like the humans they were created by instead of being battle androids like they were... so many attempted to imitate humans as much as possible, becoming physically weaker than they were originally designed... basicly becoming artificial humans.

As for humans changing... I guess you could say that, due to technology, cybernetic implants were likely possible, but for the most part, humans were just... humans =p

That's what confuses me, though! If they're just humans, why do they all have reploid 'ears?'

Well, I didn't play ZX (I played ZX Advent), but I believe that those two (the ones in the pictures) were delivery people. Either way, I think that the most logical explaination for the devices over their ears is so they can communicate.

I never played the ZX games(handheld systems are a bane) but still, something about the colors seems off to me. I think maybe her skin tone is just a bit too dark?

Ah Ashe, if only your backstory to your relation to a certain character wasn't so batshit crazy, because your charged attacks are so much better than Gray's for the most part x3
