Fighting Styles : Earth Bender, she can control the ground around her however she pleases and creates platforms or spikes to damage multiple enemies at once.
Her golden bell has the ability to memorize other elements, allowing her to mix and match any one element with the earth element (one at a time) and thus hit multiple elemental weaknesses.

Origin story summary : “Why is my Fate so unjust…”
As these words and cries echo throughout the area of the Qi pond, this mysterious golden lion statue begins to break open, revealing a living naked young female golden lion right underneath.
“Maaaan I’m hungryyyy”, as Tira stood completely flabbergasted at the current sight.
This girl has no recollection of who she is, nor why she was in that golden statue and for how long, but upon crossing eyes for the very first time, she knew she wanted to follow Tira till the ends of the world. This one-sided “love at first sight” prompts some vague memories to pop back up : her name is Mai Jīnshī, she was born at this exact location, she loves Shizitou, and her most important goal right now is to help Tira achieve her dream. Her sudden appearance causes quite a commotion among the temple Monks, but Tira reluctantly escapes with her to her appartment. Following her awakening, she would follow Tira around, leading to a bunch of shenanigans that end up revealing her golden bell’s mysterious ability to motivate the change of Fate around her when rung.
Shortly thereafter, things take a turn for the worst when Tira’s town gets raided by the dangerous “Horned Beasts of the East”, a clan that aims to conquer the land of Taifu, but along with Tira (and an extra uninvited third party) they manage to push back one of the powerful Beast Generals, and even cross words with Tira’s target of revenge, the Horned Empress, prompting them to make the decision to go on a journey across Taifu to achieve Tira’s dream (along with meeting new invaluable allies) and figuring out Mai’s true purpose.
