Oh that would take all of thirty minutes to bite the world like a muffin.
This is absolutely the time for the Florence Ambrose quote:
"Any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic."
The fact is, yinglets are a genetically crafted species, as is clear in the recent updates and has been pretty well hinted at for a singular century evolutionary tract. When it took us humans half a million years to get from homo erectus to homo sapiens.
And it's clear that there was a more advanced civilization present before this, potentially the same that exists roughly now but degraded.
Perhaps a spacefaring civilization got massively EMPed and then nearly cooked by that really damn close supernovae remnant in the sky? And their trade partners are like, oh heck no that planet did not survive, I ENT going THERE to say hi to bones and ash! All that dust will COOK my FTL shields!

Well yeah I know this is a Lay Line Discharge not a lighting storm..
Sailers used to see them all the time, Less now that the Core in not spinning as hard.
Beings that are exposed to that much Raw bioenergy, It tends to have Unforeseen Effects to there biology, even changing there form or giving them Affinity for Directing and Controlling Energy KAK Magic or Lux craft what ever you wish to call it.
MANA stone is merely a condensed form of it...

This is a compact object like a neutron star, for which escape velocity is merely half the speed of light, not greater than the whole or you would see a spot of black wreathed in fire wreathed in a disk of plasma (where most of the electric charge is generated! But it depends on if Zat Zing is spinning, is THE magnet of magnets).
Of course your theory may also have some merit, would just like a bit of factual evidence or some experiment repeatability, but that can be hard to get we understand, do keep trying, we love our minds being blown wider and wider by the year.
