That's a real concern. When I worked in security, some of the women ran up against that. The contractor who supplied uniforms didn't stock maternity pants (it was the early 1980s; I guess mommies-to-be were supposed to stay home) and one of our guards got suspended for wearing sweat pants -- even in the right color. Fortunately for her, I was her union steward.
I wonder if Sabrina ever had that issue? (Mind you, Amy was able to make Sabrina's pants work for her during her own pregnancy atound late '98: https://www.sabrina-online.com/stri.....abOnline57.GIF )
It's also a shame that Bill Holbrook never really showed any of his mothers-to-be wearing just a pants and shirt combo in his comics during his pregnancy arcs (with the exception of Samantha in Safe Havens of 2018, but that was due to her wearing a spacesuit throughout her pregnancy) as it was mostly skirts or long maternity shirts that reached the knees...
...guess he doesn't find drawing baby-bumps that easy to make it accurately correct.
