We’ve been at the beach for an hour or so after a long day exploring the city and eating great food and enjoying time together. Her laugh is contagious and I pick her up as the sun hits the horizon to swing her about until she lands on my stomach, legs akimbo around my waist. There was a beat of staring into each others’ eyes until I lean in and kiss her. And she kisses me back.
