An adventure story with some pure, unadulterated growth and macro-battles...

It contains a minotaur and a ferret or, in the terminology of my fantasy world, a terrmorah and a tahvic.

The Skylands is a setting I have used for both short stories and table-top RPGs. It is a world made up of floating islands and continents ripped loose from other realities and parallel universes. Earth was only one of the most recent worlds to have a ten-mile chunk ripped out of it and deposited, high in the thin air, as a new, floating island.

This story follows a native tahvic and his newcomer associates. It's a culture clash as well as a decent fist-to-fist battle.
