A new ref to show a new me.
I lost my way for a moment in time
and now I must fight to regain
the pride and dignity inside myself,
it's burried in the pain.
My journey begins with questions of self.
How do the pieces fit?
What if I can't make the transition?
Can I really do it?
I pick myself up, baggage and all
and start my quest of discovery.
With each day I pass another hurtle
and begin to see the real me.
I am strong enough and smart enough
to take on the task at hand!
As I climb from the darkness of my path,
in the sun on the summit I stand.
