Its all about control
it takes quite a lot of effort to get used to doing it, so dont feel bad that you cant get it to work ^^;
the main key is to make it so that when you cross your eyes, the two images line up exactly (like if you focus on the face, make the two heads become one as you cross them)
and when you do this your eyes will 'snap' into focus and you'll be able to see the subtle 'popping out' 3D :)
