For a certain
CemagCre ... I have no idea who he is (😉).
As usual, I'm always late with my presents, which makes me think that I'm a bit late.
I loved studying your shiba with watercolours and felt pens. The idea was to do a comic strip that was different for me. So I wrote a contemplative story about the beauty of the universe.
I hope you like it.
The stars seem very close, yet the closest one to us would take us four years to touch if we were a tiny photon. Unfortunately, we're just two-armed bugs on our little drop of water. What's more, if we got too close to one, we'd burn up in a matter of seconds. But the great thing about the stars is that you can see them from out here in the countryside. All these little lights in this void make it a space filled with colour and beauty. When night falls, go outside and look up: contemplate.
Cream has just returned from a trip with her friends to the capital. It was now dark, a clear night, but there was no moon in sight. The friends stopped on a small country road, isolated from all civilisation. Cream got out and walked along the side of the road to stretch her legs. A gentle breeze drew her attention to the fields, then to the horizon and the sky. It was so beautiful. You don't always see skies this clear, but this one seemed impossible to see with the naked eye. He saw the multitude of points of light on the celestial vault. He felt a warmth emanating from his heart; he could feel it beating. Cream thought back to some beautiful childhood memories. He thought of discovering the stars when he was 6, with his best friend. He also thought of his first romantic evening. He thought back to all the wonderful events in his life.
Cream stood still for a few minutes, enjoying what he was seeing and feeling.
He was called to order by one of his friends.
"Shall we go home?"
He answered soothingly:
"Just a minute, I'm coming.
He waved goodbye to the stars he saw and imagined, each one a memory of his life. Cream left, accompanied by his friends and the stars in his head.
