Karpenter and some of his friends were invited to visit Lunar City, The City of Dreams.
Alas, he also learns just how much of a nightmare it can be for those unaware of the dark truth waiting for them. Will they be able to escape, or will the city claim yet more victims?
And here we have a commission I wrote for :IconProwler7". This was a really fun story to bring to life and I hope all of you enjoy it as well.

Gah. I can't believe I missed you posting this.
I tend to skip over story submissions until I have the time to read them, and this was already pushed to page 2 of my submissions backlog.
Thanks again so much for taking this commission and doing such a fantastic job with it.
I totally love the way you matured Cyrus from his previous appearance, making so much more fun and dangerous.
I also love the way you handled Mesmer and Karpenter, both in their personalities as well as their respective fates. The description of the transformation was perfect and I'm sure that Karpenter was honored to become a permanent part of Cyrus' collection, even if his mind no longer exists to enjoy that.
It's always a delight when Lunar City permanently claims some victims, and of course it's even better when it gets to be my character. People need to be reminded that bad endings do indeed happen to random people.
