Mastic was born and raised in the Lightning Empire. He's the son of Khione and Arum-Lily and brother of Blue Ginger, Quince, and Honey Locust. His mother was capture while she was pregnant and gave birth to Mastic and his siblings in the cages under the city. They were shortly after rescued, minus Honey Locust whom was left behind. Since then he has known nothing but the open fields of Lightning Empire. He originally trained to become a Gladiator, but when the rank was split to better suit each individual he joined the Order or the River aka the scholars and he now dedicates his time to keeping the census of the entire Empire, future and past. He always wished to become a father, but he had no mate of which to speak of, so with the help from his friend Neith ,whom agreed to become a surrogate for him; he became the father of 3 beautiful boys named Hellebores, Hawthorne, and Olive. Shortly after he found an abandoned litter of 4 cubs; Panderosa Pine, Hershey, Marshmellow, and Graham. He took them in and is raising them alongside his sons as happy family.

Mastic is a Clouded Leopard/Pallas Cat/Lynx Hybrid with no visible mutations.
