Alright, brace yourself.....
1. Your body proportion is off for an SD (chibi) drawing, as it is based off of three heads of height, possibly two, as opposed to the current four heads that is present in this drawing.
2. Your eyes are far too small, nd very lacking in glint (shiny stuffs) and thus lack an amount of childlike innocence that is the main point of the chibi style.
Though as I said I like the picture itself, it is the art style itself that makes a chibi or SD.... not the coloring or the shading
If you want to learn the chibi style, I would suggest doing some of the tutorials from dragoart.com.... they have a few examples there... and it will help you get a feel for the style =3
