For New Year's, I made my way down to Dallas, TX to visit a friend.
On the actual New Year's Eve, we took the day to drive to Oklahoma to see the Wichita Mountains, an indigenous (Comanche) and nature preserve.
And we of course hiked up one of the mountain trails and beheld an amazing view. The lay of the land continues to transform me and I just surrender to the natural surroundings. Time just seemed to stop for a few brief moments.
This is one of the actual photos I took and I commissioned Jae the Stray to draw my fursona into it. Just adds another level of fantasy to the setting.
As a wise man once said, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
