Allan Quartermain was the only child of John and Jane Quartermain that lived to adulthood.

Joining the military at a young age, he ended up traveling the world, taking the chance wherever he could to explore and find artifacts, treasures and... findings that to this day Miskatonic University is keeping secret.

Despite his long journey, he always considered Africa his home, and even tho he was given a manor with a ton of land for his loyal service and findings for the british museum (a lot of which is held there controversially, just adding.) he stayed in South Africa for... a while.

I always liked the fact that both his family and Miskatonic U never really condemned him for it.

I know, MKU did say "Political violence against heads of states is something we cannot condone, even if it would leat to the end of endless slaughter.", but when you read between the lines, you know they understood why he did it.

It's not even like he succeded.

wierd tho... he was a sharpshooter. maybe he wanted to be caught and executed.

at least they decided to allow him to be buried in his home. his heart rests in Africa.
