I honestly just forgot and tried to recall it from memory. I always hired someone to manufacture a rack of them for me, so I don't honestly know. I remember them being pinned in like a scaled, overlapped pattern that was kind of obnoxious to do by hand.
I'm surprised he went through the effort he did to get them detailed enough that you can tell it's only 4. IIRC ribbons go on the right breast and there are a few in the bunch, but I wasn't specific with the artist and told him not to worry too much about the medals. All the blame is with me :)
