Early in my fursuiting career, Brawl - who was then studying art - did this wonderful character rotation for me - which then became reference for the suit by created by Lance Ikegawa. Notice that in the original reference, Brokken carried his tail upright like a husky. It later relaxed to a more neutral position.

Well, just like dressing up on Halloween: It's fun to step into a different 'skin' every once in a while. It allows one to explore personalities which one would be too shy or ashamed of under normal circumstances. Some of my characters are upright and good. Others, not so much.
