Found a bunch of old art in my closet, some drawings from art class and some photographs from a photography class, circa 1989. Decided to put some of these things up.

The picture was taken with a 35mm Nikon camera. The negatives were developed by me in the school's darkroom, and I destroyed a great many of the pictures because of a bad case of stupid fingers. I made prints in the darkroom, and of them all this one turned out best. It is showing its age a bit, not helped by my less than stellar attempts at working with the chemicals.

So this is a photograph of my late cat, Shirley. Followed me home as a tiny kitten on the week of Thanksgiving 1986, and left me for the cold earth on the week of Thanksgiving 2002.

Here she is, posing in a window in an old apartment of mine, around 1989, enjoying a moment in the sun.
