I find that cute, but I love how Snow can see himself in Alan and maybe that freaks him out quite a lot actually. I can't dive deep into that but I do think that's one of the reasons he's so freaked out about that man, it's that not only he;s still not healed from his previous relationship, he can literally see someone younger than him, literally ready to do the exact same thing HE was about to do too, and maybe reality is slowly hitting him.
It's like looking at yourself in a mirror when you're not yet ready to face yourself.
