Well folks, this particularly handsome werewolf bastard with overwhelming DILF energy is none other than my brooding boyfriend,
VolsungKaesoron -we both kinda came around to the decision to change our fursonas to a more canine persuasion. it wasn't any kind of light or whimsical descision, and I was pretty reserved about doing it to begin with but after almost a month of various episodes of catharsis, we both found ourselves wanting to go in this direction. I cant describe the catalytic event as well as he did, so I'll simply relay his own words here:
"In the end, thirsting for something more piquant than the usual adventures and detective stories, I found a library of furry literature... And after some time of searching, I came across the "Wolf" series from a certain A.G. Milhorn guy.
Expecting nothing more than the “fruitie novel of werewolves and gays” given in the summary, I delved into reading.
And... Oh boy... It hit me hard.
Sure does... It hit me hard...
The impact was colossal. I think the most serious thing over the past 7 years has come from reading literature.
Even while paying tribute to the obvious literary and artistic merits of the book... It didn't end here.
It was almost... eerie to read a book that seemed literally written for me personally.
Problems of alienation and acceptance. Problems of finding yourself and being a furry person in general.
I was expecting a firecracker's bang, but what I got was a tactical nuclear explosion.
Not just a "fruity novel about werewolves and gays". To put it mildly.
A. G. Milhorn...
Sir, you are simply a magician.
Taking off my hat."
-and thats all essentially what I would like to relate for myself, especially after he made me read the book series as well. and we spent the better portion of a month (and we are still endlessly continuing) discussing things related to us that we felt in the concept brought out from those books. his original post is on the same version of this drawing in his FA gallery, so i suggest you ought to go check it out for more of his own personal feelings on the matter.
