A character I've been on and off messing with in the background; started as somebody else (that popped up during my MLP phase way back when) before diverging into something else altogether. Originality, for the most part!
PS: ehem yes, the hair on the second one is layered weirdly which I noticed just now, it's late and I was also working on other stuff when this popped into mind. Might revisit that later when I'm trying not to get *too* distracted over priorities, probably. >.>a Anyway...
Elle (or El, they are not picky about how their name is exactly spelled) is a type of chaos deity, or deity-like being that moonlights as a patron god/goddess for some unspecified region out there. While it's mainly for their own amusement's sake, they also like the attention, as well as the extra 'oomph' that having people worship them provides. Faith is power after all!
(Or in a more specific, "oh hey my characters have lore kinda" way, they are the patron god of one of the regions (one of four-ish) in Averthew , the world(?) that all my folks are settled in. The only one who does anything other than sit around and watch, as it were.)
Of course, they don't dedicate themselves to that alone. More often than not they'll just show up here and there wherever, pretending to be some kind of fairy (or toy fairy, given the go-to form they appear in during those moments) ready to, well, toy around with whatever poor soul they've taken an interest on. They'll mess with, tease, twist and squeeze whatever wishes or desires or anything in between they might hear and tell; sometimes literally! There is a non-zero amount of people who've ended up as balloon animals as a result.
Naturally, being a long-lived presence (and given their own nature), their morality isn't quite there. The name's mostly a placeholder since going around without one is a hassle sometimes; gender as fluid as a river. While not exactly evil, they'll play the antagonist card now and then to keep things interesting, not helped by their loose attachment to most others—they'll take a liking to someone, but if said somebody breaks? That's nothing to worry about. Being somehow outwitted, outdone, or out-anything? Interesting, exciting! Rare, but they'll still appreciate those moments.
They are also Myri's mother/father/something, sharing some personality traits in a way—as well as being prime proof of their ability to play god and *mean* it—, but they usually keep away from her given faction-related differences. They do love their kid though, probably.
"I'm no devil, I'm your whims! Let me show you the boundlessness of a god's imagination. Don't break apart too quickly, now—if you get tricked by an airhead, that's all on you!"

Such a cute character, but dangerous and mischievous.
One of those debates of the denizens of the world and how much knowledge and adaptation to TF and magic and active agents who don't have all best in mind. Plus how much of the world is simply filled with balloons and other tf subjects. The anthro living population would probably be high at this rate and the everything that entails fuel for story power. A God of Balloons...
Though hopefully she doesn't break people "Don't break apart too quickly".
So this is where witch Myri comes from, explains a lot.
She screams though, big squeaky hug.
How delighted are they in just the plane auto request from a patron? The flat turn me into a balloon?
Though if I had to pick a character of yours that would be the number one to turn people into balloons this would be the one.
Get some stories to share! Though, I am curious to see the outwhit and outplay.

Oh, she tries to hold off on the shenanigans with her own followers and such at least unless they specifically request it, would be hard to get much done if they're all floating in the air after all. She's not any specific kind of (patron) god, but is still definitely the sort to pick such an arbitrary title for her own purpose (and/or amusement). "Local town turned into bouncy castle by toy god's divine retribution" is a headline she hasn't been able to land just yet, but maybe one day!
She's not the type to kill though that's for sure, might be all "if something happens to you while you're like this that's not my responsibility" between all the trickery and teasing and whatnot, but she still respects the fragility of mortal life! And it's not like she can't just put you back together if need be anyway.♪
I'd say that almost makes Myri a demigoddess but probably not given Elle's as much of a real god as Myri is a real witch; that's something they share at least :P
Oh yeah, totally accepts hugs by all means. She'll gladly do that too, maybe call 'em a little dull depending on how often she's done it in the week, but she won't turn it down regardless. She's very generous! Just don't mind when she turns you into a parade balloon to show everyone how much of a big balloon you so badly wanted to be—didn't specify what kind after all! And she'll even take photos while at it, the horror!
I'd say all my characters are just as prone to being like that given the right circumstances but that's fair eheh, being the one that will do it no matter what is something else alright. But thank you yeah! Maybe if I think of something suitable to write about with them I will down the line. Or soon, depends on the moods really!

I'm imagining the kind of character development that might arise from Elle encountering that odd fellow whom they turn into a parade balloon and they're absolutely thrilled. So they turn their new plaything into all kinds of inflatable things and it turns out that as long as it's cute and inflatable and Elle's having fun, they're having fun too. I imagine Elle as a sort of avoidant personality who doesn't form lasting relationships with anyone. Though for a particularly amusing mortal, that might start to change, slowly.
