Folks like to say that you find yourself on the roads, be they to the stars, to places on planets, or the Long Road of Linelaid Gates that run the length of the Frontier. While a student in the Institute for Non-Causal Sciences, I found my calling on that road.

While the life of a Board Certified Magus was my educational goal, I discovered, while working my way through the Institute's classes, that I adored being their mail delivery person for those rare hand-delivered parcels, items, and missives.

From the people I met along the way, I found a love for writing, not digitally but on flimsy. I found the pleasures of a book or a grimoire in ones hands as a comforting weight, and in reading, a glimpse into somewhere or somewhen new.

So, here I am, 28 years old, having managed to complete the courses almost faster than anyone else, and I have decided my way: I serve as one of the very few couriers the Institute has, always with feet or scooter to the road, eyes on a new horizon, and a book in my hand.

The unbbiverse goes so fast. Maybe it's time all we sapients slowed down a bit to savor its' flavors?
