Again, a really casual and believable scene.
You are so good at the flow and the tone of dialogue,
and all the body language and accompanying activities!
The dialogues are pretty difficult to get into,
but that very quality of needing to glean
the meanings and decipher accents
is what makes this language
feel alive and unique.
Why does the drekir with a sock on their head speak in speech bubbles
that don't match the color of their eyes, if I may ask?
Liked that little jab at the green-eyed purple drekir (the sparring master)
counting their chickens before they hatch in regards to the upcoming raid!

Glad you like it!
The speech bubbles are made to be the eye color of the characters. But since its technically a low opacity default layer and a shining overlay above it can change colors depending on the background. It's all about blending so its hard to guarantee both color consistency and keep the look.
It's a cautious encouragement

Well? At least you know the basket is nigh indestructible? That's gotta be valuable.
I can understand why Imua got rid of the staff, seeing as it'd absorbed the energy of the spirit it destroyed, and was attracting a lot of unwanted attention. Likewise, I think the Dragon of Paradise would accept that as a valid reason for getting rid of it. A sort of, "Oh, didn't foresee that one, naw, you're good."
But the other gifts, assuming they won't be killing and absorbing other spirits, might be a little harder to discard without giving insult.

Make that shit into armor... If you can take it apart.
Honestly considering the scale of understanding a bal like Shõlresa (The Dragon of Paradise) has, It knew the implications of what it was giving. It knew the consequences, it gave them anyways. I think it's silence speaks loudly
