It was only a matter of time before I referenced THAT game, eh? I'm pretty mixed on it- on one hand, it's a shameless clone, and everyone defends it because it's indie (Fossil Fighters and Yokai Watch are shamed for being copies, but not this? Seriously?)
But on the other hand, I've been no fan of Nintendo/Gamefreak's recent output for quite a while, so I have no qualms whatsoever with someone else stealing their lunch.
The game itself seems pretty decent, but the character designs are kinda 'meh', so I'll pass.

I like how people constantly confuse copy and games that are the same genre. Like Monster hunter and Dauntless are. It's weird that hardly anyone flips out about fighting/sport/wrestling games like this. I find the mainline pokemon games boring as fuck. The pokemon mysterious dungeons games i like which literally use the Chocobo Dungeon mechanic with pokemon. Since the internet games following have become more Fanatical cult like. "this game is too close to the game it's a clone and it must die and kill everyone that dare make it" Morons. Competition is good monopolies are bad.
Shit Disney literal got nearly all it's money from the public domain early on they can copyright the animation/art, and their version of Cinderella. There's like 20 different variations I've encountered. It's nothing against you, I'm just getting tired of the same song and dance.
I can't turn off my imagination it's on all the time.
