With this, I'm halfway finished with my octet.

Biography: Ondine is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena. She was born a day before the protection twins Genevie & Dorinda were born, making her part of the 2nd line of 1/2 mermaids. Ondine decided on day one when she was young that she wanted to be a traveler just like her father, but she had little idea on what path she wanted to walk to make this a reality. One day however, she & 7 of her sisters came across a book in the household library concerning the gods of Orsterra, and they decided to read it while their parents were busy. One of the chapters concerned the God Brand, the Thunderblade. Ondine took interest in this chapter of the book & read about Brand & his accomplishments from start to finish, eventually finalizing her intention to be a Warrior under his tutilage. To that end, Ondine asked her father to spar with her so that she could obtain the strength of the warrior she aims to be. Although Juni accepted the notion to train Ondine, it was not without faults. Ondine's first days of warrior training were met with her being heavily bruised & injured since her father was very strong, and his training was not expected to be the least bit easy. Nonetheless, Ondine never gave up on training with her father, eventually being able to bring him down to his knees after knocking his blade out of his hand with one of her own. With that, Juni declared Ondine's training complete & that she was now a warrior who walks the path of the Thunderblade Brand. From that point on, Ondine has been able to help fight off evil in Orsterra, Solistia, or even her home of Olympus, and wherever else her services may be needed. True to the great family of Junichiro, Ondine has the same kind & caring nature displayed by many in the family, being friendly to those who earn it, but acting cold to those who're not. Ondine however, is also noted to be a bit impulsive. Which can sometimes lead to her making decisions that could potentially lead to disastrous results. Though her father Juni strongly dislikes showcasing his strength purely for sport, Ondine has no such problem & enjoys partaking in competitions that involve swordplay. Ondine also shares her love for whales & dolphins with her father & wants nothing more than to see the end of whaling & the taiji hunts. Thus far, the practices in Olympus will soon be extinct. The best at working the forge.
Abilities: Being 1/2 Mermaid, Ondine is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any point she enters the water. However, Ondine generally prefers the water to be either fresh, or seawater, and strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming, just like her siblings & mother. Following the path of the God Brand, Ondine's primary job is the Warrior. She boasts the best HP, and physical stats of her sisters following similar paths. Surprisingly, she also has some good speed to her, ensuring that she can evade without problem, and making it likely that she can obtain first strikes in battle. The only problem she has with is her Elemental Attack & Defense. In her primary job, she has access to swords & spears, but she has access to none of the elements. Not even light. As far as path actions go, Ondine's Daytime Path Action Challenge allows her to pick a fight with townspeople to earn extra EXP & money. Although she'll have to do the fighting alone. Losing however, will not damage her party's reputation. Her Nighttime Path Action, Forge, lets Ondine make new weapons out of materials townspeople might have on hand, and Ondine will be able to take the newly made weapon as soon as it's crafted. This path action is a noble one & Ondine simply needs a high enough level to forge specific weapons, or even story related items like keys. Her unique talent is Mold Breaker. With this, Ondine can attack an enemy's weaknesses even if it is locked up, allowing her to break shields early. Her starting gear & skills are as follows.
Cobalt Sword: A sword fashioned out of pure cobalt metal. Its blue sheen belies its deadly nature towards foes. Phys Attack +13.
Cobalt Spear: A spear fashioned out of pure cobalt metal. It has a lovely shine that sometimes rivals that of the ocean itself. Phys Attack +12.
Coral Headband: A pink sturdy headband with metallic lookalike coral sewn in for extra defense. Phys Defense +4, Elem Defense +5.
Oceanic Breastplate: A lovely piece of armor that is sturdy enough to bounce arrows off. Phys Defense +10, Elem Defense +8.
Round Shield: A simple round shield. Phys Defense +13, Elem Defense +15.
Critical Earring: Critical Attack +10
Sprightly Earring: Speed +10
Level Slash: Attacks all foes with a sword.
Spearhead: Attacks a foe with a spear, and allows the user to act earlier on their next turn.
