Biography: Pavati is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena, being a day older than Zavanna, essentially making her part of the family's 3rd line of 1/2 mermaids. Pavati decided on day one when she was young that she wanted to be a traveler just like her father, but she had little idea on what path she wanted to walk to make this a reality. One day however, she & 7 of her sisters came across a book in the household library concerning the gods of Orsterra, and they decided to read it while their parents were busy. In one chapter of the book, it told of The Lady of Grace Sealticge. Pavati adopted this chapter as her own, learning that those who follow her path tended to be dancers, and so Pavati ultimately decided to become one herself. To that end, she went to her sisters who've also taken up dancing in order to learn how to be a dancer herself. Her sisters taught her well, but the most important lessons ended up coming from her mother Palutena who wound up being the slightly better teacher in the end and she taught her how to use fire magic to defend herself magically, and lessons in learning how to fight using a dagger came from her father Juni. Through trial & error, Pavati eventially became an accomplished dancer blessed by Sealticge & now stands ready to fight off evil in her homeworld of Olympus, and even on the continents of Orsterra & Solistia. As is to be expected from those in Juni's family, Pavati is a king hearted woman whose heart is described as being pure, alongside some select others in the family. However, she can be a bit overzealous, such as when she over performs during a dance after being praised for how wonderfully she does it. In fact, there was at least one incident where she had to be lead off stage once her performance was done since Pavati didn't stop right away so that she wouldn't overdo it. Nonetheless, Pavati's favorite type of dance to put on is the belly dance & never hesitates to do one when prompted. She's also a fan of ballgowns & owns at least 20 different types to wear. However, she dislikes people who're poor sports. She also detests when it rains, as it dampens her dancing mood. Like a handful of her sisters, Pavati is a proven absolute mudlark, not being shy about throwing herself into some quicksand the moment she hears a pit in the vicinity of the area she's in. Has the purest smile.
Abilities: Being 1/2 mermaid, Pavati is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any point she enters the water. However, Pavati generally prefers the water to be either fresh, or seawater, and strongly prefers the water to be clean before she thinks about transforming, just like her siblings & mother. Following the Goddess Sealticge, Pavati's primary job is the Dancer. She has excellent speed & evasion, and she is tied with her older sister Oshiera for having the 2nd highest Elemental Attack & Defense, being being only by Chantae. However, she also ties with her in having the 2nd lowest Physical Attack & Defense, again being beaten by Chante. Pavati's main utility is to provide support for the party in the form of her dances. However, she is perfectly capable of defending herself if needed, mainly fighting with daggers for physical attacks. However, instead of using the power of wind, or darkness, Pavati has an affinity for fire, knowing a dance that can burn foes easily. Her Daytime Path Action is Allure, which allows Pavati to allow a townsperson to follow her wherever she goes. However, as this is the rogue version of Guide, it has a chance to fail & can damage the reputation of Pavati's party. In contrast, her Nighttime Path Action is shared with Agnea: Entreat. This enables Pavati to obtain items from townspeople after treating them to a nice display. She will however, be unable to retrieve items if her level is not high enough. She also shares the Dance Session talent, which allows Pavati to call upon the townsperson currently following her to assist her in battle by performing a different action depending on the townsperson. Her starting gear & skills are as follows.
Bard's Dagger: A light but sharp dagger. It is capable of being thrown at a target to make it inflict more damage than usual. The dagger is not lost if thrown. Phys Attack +12, Evasion +10.
Dancer's Bedlah: Pavati's personal, beautiful bedlah that's perfect for belly dancing. It doesn't provide much in terms of defense, but it's better than nothing. Phys Defense +6, Elem Defense +9.
Dancer's Tiara: A lovely tiara that is Pavati's pride & joy. It glistens with the sun when dancing while the sun's out shining. Phys Defense +7, Elem. Defense +8.
Critical Earring: Critical +10
Unerring Earring: Accuracy +10
Lion Dance: Augments a single ally's physical attacks for 2 turns.
Fiery Waltz: Deals heavy fire damage to a single foe.
