I wrote about surgery, thyroid cancer, and so on. And now, finally, I returned home after surgery and rehabilitation. Half of the thyroid gland and the tumor were removed. It turned out that it was stage 1 follicular cancer. That's it, the story is over. I'll be taking a small dose of hormones every day for the rest of my life, which is a little sadly.

I noticed this during a medical examination at school several years ago. It was just a small cyst that may not cause any harm. And since then I have had a thyroid ultrasound every year. The last time we saw that it had sharply increased by almost a couple of centimeters. In general, just a routine examination.
