I had this bad boi in my WIPs folder for quite alot (Not as much as the Manta Ray), but it's such a relief to get out old sketches and give them their deserved justice! :')
It seems like I've been through a nostalgia-drive and been looking into my old unfinished designs and there are quite alot I still like, so I want to complete them hehe.
In this case, this design was inspired by the Flesh Fly (Sarcophaga bercaea), which may sound strange at first, but something about the dark gray tones mixed with bright red just made me think about making a wicked demon, and the proboscis got converted into the tongue! 👅

SPECIAL FEATURES:

- Can lick and kiss you at the same time with it's tongue :P
- Spikes can be launched as projectiles.
- Dissolves & mixes with water, making for the perfect invisible camo.
- Doesn't need eyes, it tastes the world around them.
