My only gripe about this would be that the red armour and red clothing are entirely too vivid – perhaps a result of the scan? Well, they also seem far too close in colour, indistinguishable, which just doesn't quite work considering the vastly different materials. I see that you have some shading work to try to distinguish them, but it's maybe a bit too subtle to read clearly.

Love the weapon design. It's almost comical, but really, can you laugh at a sickle?

Naw, that's my own darn fault really. The leather armor should be duller.

The longcoat should be shiny leather, 'cause this is going by the Final Fantasy thing where people use medieval technology in the same society that gets 20th century styled textiles.

The freaky weapon is a little larger than a historical version, would'ya believe?

I can only assume that when he casts Inflict spells, he has to twirl around in a semicircle while launching magical thorny rose-stems to slice at his target in a shower of rose petals. He's just that bishounen.
