Back at it again with the Poppy Playtime Smiling Critters AU!
Who is Kickin-Chicken
Kickin Chicken is the cool kid of the group. Originating from a more tropical climate, he’s very skilled in surfing and is often very laid back and talks with a chill surfer voice. He’s very brash yet confident in his abilities, though is often a jerk to others, he’s boastful and rude, not a stickler for in-depth conversation. Rather he seems to wanna handle every situation his own way and is begrudgingly of following orders.
With all of these flaws, he’s still got positives. He does take pity on the other critters and is willing to help in any way he can, especially when push comes to shove, Kickin is willing to keep his cool in a tight squeeze.
Kickin Chicken’s abilities include his fast flight and sharp talons that can cut up foes into pieces! He’s also very skilled at surfing and most sports, not golf thought, he sucks at that! XD
Due to his sharp claws and extra back toe, shoes are an absolute no-go for this chicken, though his feet are very durable, so it’s ain’t a huge loss. Though his soles are really soft and squishy, with a good smell of ylang-ylang as a sort of cologne; which is also found on the rest of his body. The smell of his feet is mostly intoxicatingly sweaty and musky. One hit could knock a Critter out, be lucky if you ever got one sniff! Though that shouldn’t be too hard, since he often gloats by shoving his winning size 13 slim into the loser's face! >=3
A fun activity the gang likes to do whenever it’s raining outside is to paint each other’s nails, thanks to Crafty-Corn of course. With Kickin-Chicken’s being a shiny blue to remind him of the ocean.
Speaking of Crafty-Corn, Kickin very much has a crush on her. Though their personalities are a bit different, Kickin admires the work she put into her paintings. Along with that, enjoys her kind and soft presence, it’s relaxing and makes him feel happy.
On the other side of the spectrum, Hoppy Hopscotch is a good friend but a greater rival! The two constantly butt heads are always challenging each other. Think of it like Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack relationship.
Kickin Chicken enjoys hobbies like relaxing, playing sports, drawing with Crafty, and taking on challenges that test his skills.
He truly is a tough yet fun wild card who doesn’t play by the rules!
Who is Hoppy Hopscotch?
Hoppy Hopscotch is a cheery and sweet tomboy, a very athletic individual like Kickin Chickin. She does quarrel about stuff like Kickin, though she often gets on the other’s nerves with her stories and adventures.
She’s also an avid baker, seeing value in having multiple talents, rather than sports. She sees herself highly but lets that get over her head and is soon knocked back down to reality thanks to the others.
Hoppy’s a world record jumper, sometimes she can jump higher than Kickin Chicken can fly! She must have pretty strong feet to accomplish such feats, though are quite sensitive, much like the others!
She chooses to bind her jumping abilities in her sandals so as to not go overboard with jumping and hopping around. She’s got the biggest feet of all the critters, being size 14 wide. She’s worn the same pair of worn-out sandals for years, so you can imagine the terrible smells! However, she does clean her feet thoroughly, with mint body wash so her feet always smell fresh! If a bit cheesy from her shoes.
A fun activity the gang likes to do whenever it’s raining outside is to paint each other’s nails, thanks to Crafty-Corn of course. With Hoppy Hopscotch being a shiny lavender to match her eyes.
She believes her heart belongs to Bobby Bearhug, though that could be said for a lot of the critters! Though she secretly does have affections for Kickin Chicken, since they’re always around each other and she’s started to appreciate his determination to one-up her.
From sports to Baking, Hoppy is very skilled, though is good at enjoying just spending time with her friends, especially after a long day's work.
Hoppy Hopscotch is a sweet and kind bunny, even when she’s over her head!
