It seemed like any other "regular" day in Turquoise Hills for Team Cupcake, but the duo had found a letter in the mailbox from... Maya? That sciencey, unpredictable Dolliv Skittles hangs out with? They wanted to show them something by the looks of it, and since the pair had nothing better to do, they went out to see what it desperately wanted to show them.

Upon arrival, Maya appeared to be snickering about something, but quickly contained herself as the two approached, so the two brushed it off.

Maya had invited Team Cupcake out to see a... crystal? It was levitating above the ground, illuminating a rather dim, lime light.

Roxy stared at the crystal like a Watchdog, oddly fascinated by it. Graham meanwhile talked to Maya a little. Something in the back of Graham's mind was telling him that this seemed a little fishy. Why would Maya drag he and Roxy of all Pokèmon around here to see and touch this floating, glowing shard? Wouldn't it have made more sense for them to ask Samson and Skittles to take part in this? They were Maya's main friends after all, while neither himself or Roxy (to their knowledge) had much interaction with Maya in the past.

No question it was odd, but regardless. The sugary feline didn't wanna disappoint the olive creature, and at the end of the day this just looked to be a harmless little experiment, judging by the small notebook Maya seemed to be holding. Who knows, maybe the crystal is capable of something actually really cool and/or useful that Maya was desperate to show them after already showing others. Maybe a double stat boost? Could definitely be handy before going out on missions.

Despite the slightly off vibes, there seemed to be no issue with taking part, so they went along with it.

It was time to see what this crystal was all about...
