There were many voices against Noodles joining the resistance, and one of the most vocal of them all was Fleece. She is a pessimist, often envisioning the worst case scenarios and creating contingency plans around them. To her, a feral werelupe could only end one way. Huge collateral damage and unable to differentiate friend from foe, and as time went on with the scenario falling to materialize, her paranoia of the worst case scenario only increased.
It would take Operation: String Cutter to finally break though the mountain of paranoia she had built up when Noodles (fighting alongside Amy) not only saved her, but her entire squad (and many more besides) from the clutches of prototype badniks designed to capture and puppeteer victims as Eggman Empire ground forces/meat shields.
Ashamed of her actions, Fleece has turned into one of Noodles most dedicated advocates of her skills and abilities for the Resistance, and having put her grievances to rest, has become rather good friends with the werelupe.
